Where it all started
Hi again, my name is
Jamie 👋
Empathetic
creative
Does anyone else hate writing bios like this?
Couldn't think of anything worse than writing about myself personally, but here is your opportunity for initial vibe checks!
I started Jamie B Creative after several years working in creative roles (photo and video production) for charity organisations. Prior to this, I had photographed weddings for friends and family too - and I loved it!
Like a lot of people post-pandemic, I was struggling with burnout, so decided to take some time away from 'adult life' and go travelling with my partner in our van for a few months. The van life liberated me and led me to build the exact amount of confidence I needed to start a different kind of adventure...
Upon our return, Jamie B Creative was born.
What makes Jamie B Creative inclusive?
A lot of people assume that once you label your business 'inclusive', it means you only work with certain clientele. For me, inclusive practice means that I want every one to feel happy, safe and comfortable to work with me, no matter their background.
I'm queer and neurospicy 🔥, so wholly understand some of the pressures people in minority groups face.
I can and will accommodate people to the best of my ability, ensuring appropriate location, language, equipment etc. is thoroughly thought out for your session with me.
I want my work to be a safe space, where everyone is free to express themselves and tell their story, however they like.
How much does it cost to work with you?
The prices for my packages start at around £150 and are laid out over on my homepage, but if you have any questions or specificities you'd like to chat about, feel free to drop me an email!
I'm on a tight budget, can you still help?
My prices are currently far below industry average, to accommodate for a wide range of budgets, but as my business grows, prices are bound to change rapidly.
If you'd like to work with me but are worried about finance, please do still get in touch. Happy to talk it over!
How far do you travel for work?
I won't say anywhere... but I can be very flexible - we still have our camper van, so there aren't many places in the UK/Europe I can't just rock up to!
I love an elopement and I'm more than happy to discuss travel/accommodation expenses for this. If there's opportunity to park my van nearby our location, my fees are inevitably going to be less 🚐
